What The Call Does
The Call: Body Budget helps you make one focused daily decision using the health and activity sources you choose to connect. The app is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat, or replace professional medical advice.
Information We Collect
Depending on what you enable, the app may collect and process:
- Account information from Sign in with Apple, such as an account identifier and optional email address.
- Apple Health data you grant permission to share, such as activity, workout, heart-rate, and sleep context.
- Oura data if you connect Oura, including readiness, sleep, activity, and related freshness/status information.
- App choices, feedback, and preferences used to improve your daily call.
- First-party usage events with coarse keys, such as whether The Call, Body Budget, Sources, or feedback were used.
- Basic technical logs needed to keep the service reliable and secure.
How We Use Information
We use connected source data to generate the daily call, explain the confidence and limits behind that call, keep source freshness honest, and provide account support.
Advertising And Tracking
Health data is not sold, shared for advertising, or used for ad targeting. The app does not use health data to track you across other companies' apps or websites.
Usage Events
Launch usage events are first-party and limited to coarse product state, such as call key, budget key, source state, context key, event time, and app build. They do not include raw Apple Health payloads, raw Oura payloads, health metric values, workout details, OAuth tokens, secrets, or feedback free text.
Storage And Sharing
Connected source data and app account records are stored on The Call backend so the app can provide its daily decision experience. We may use service providers to host and operate the app, but they are used only to provide the service. We do not publish your personal health data.
Your Choices
- You can manage Apple Health permissions in the iOS Health app or Settings app.
- You can disconnect Oura from inside The Call when Oura is connected.
- You can delete your app account and synced app data in The Call under Settings > Account > Delete Account and Data.
